Our client, Unicomer, is looking for a Seasoned Executive to fill the position of Commercial Director (OECS). Kindly note that this position is based in St. Lucia and is open to CARICOM Nationals

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent is required to develop competitive retail sales, business development and marketing strategies to ensure sustainable profitable growth and reinforce Unicomer’s market leadership.  The incumbent must ensure the business goals and objectives are accomplished with the right business processes, services and solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with merchandise, marketing and finance teams to develop annual sales and marketing strategies and targets, EBITDA and developmental plans to deliver company, regional and branch level plans.
  • Manage customer base and develop retention strategies including business dependence of key segments with key stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior management team to identify customer service challenges to determine customer experience goals/objectives and design marketing initiatives.
  • Increase customer base to consistently deliver great end-to end customer experience across all states, channels and touchpoints in the customer lifetime journey.
  • Prepare Annual Budget; coordinating the preparation and contributing to the Company’s business plan/strategy.
  • Articulate the implementation of best-in-class practices on customer experience management and service delivery by partnering with the various stakeholders to implement.
  • Analyse and review sales performance and provide product insights to the Commercial Team to develop line extensions, new product opportunities and achieve product rotation, revenue and EBIT target.
  • Generate new ideas for lucrative business opportunities and partnerships in collaboration with the marketing department to increase revenue streams to maximize revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • MBA or other related degree at the Master’s level
  • 4-5 years’ experience within a medium to large retail/commercial operation in an executive position
  • Industry and functional knowledge of retail operations with in-depth understanding of various products.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to influence
  • Proven management and/or relationship management experience at a senior, strategic level role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills proven in a high stakes environment
