OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Information Architecture is responsible for ensuring accuracy and quality in data and presenting data in such ways that assists with the decision-making process. This role is part of Global Data Strategy & Operations team and responsible for data onboarding, data analysis, data validation. You will be working closely with the development team and data consumers on delivering data related projects as well as providing operational support. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in Data, and work with stakeholders to develop and solution business and technical requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

• Accountable for understanding business stakeholders’ data requirements; documenting data interfaces and data mappings; analyzing and interpreting data; understand and participate in data sourcing activities; act as Data SME
• Develop business and technical requirement documents; design and execute Data Quality checks; support Data modelling; maintain Business Metadata in Collibra
• Act as a key participant in project management and tracking including effort estimation, regular meetings with Project Managers and developers, creating test plans, project plans and implementation plans, as well as tracking project through Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience. At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in an applied quantitative discipline (Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited college or university with experience involving data analysis, modeling and design is preferred
