Assistant Terminal Operations Manager

To provide support to the Terminal Operations Manager to ensure that objectives of the Terminal Operations plan are achieved. To provide oversight to the daily running of all Terminal operations (onshore and offshore).

Key Accountabilities: 

• Oversee the daily execution of the Terminal operations plans and objectives and ensures that all operations are executed in a safe manner and in compliance with relevant HSE, industry and statutory requirements.
• Support asset integrity and reliability programs to ensure that assets are maintained to the required level to provide the operational capacity necessary to achieve the Terminal operations objectives.
• Supports the development and implementation of plans and activities at Terminal operations (Oil Movement and Port) to optimizes day to day tank logistics and crude and product preparation, storage and product offtake through road tank wagon, multi-product pipeline and vessels.
• Promotes the quality management systems and implements initiatives to support the continued improvement of Terminal Operations.
• Develops and maintains the resource management plan to ensure that the Terminal Operations is adequately resourced to achieve the daily objectives.
• Ensures all activities are conducted and managed in accordance with Paria’s policies and procedures, Health, Safety and Environmental practices and procedures as outlined in the business unit’s HSE management system.
• Supervise the Terminal Operations team members ensuring that staff is effectively managed and utilize the Performance Management System to measure, manage, develop and motivate performance.
• Undertakes any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.
