The incumbent is expected to interact with customers at the depot to determine their needs and requirements and aim to fulfill these through the processing of orders, provision of information in response to inquiries about products and services and the handling and resolution of complaints to ensure the effective accomplishment of the department’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
  • Determine charges for items purchased and arrange billing documents
  • Process orders of walk-in customers and staff at the depot
  • Prepare itemized invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
  • On-going Stock checks and stock balances to ensure proper rotation
  • Resolve discrepancies in accounting records
  • Balance all collections with Credit at the end of the day
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all the products supplied and provide information on the full range of products to customers
  • Proper rotation of products using FIFO
  • Supervise/organise the loading and unloading of delivery vans
  • Keep records of invoices and supporting documents including specific antibiotic records and narcotic orders
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
  • Co-ordinate the incoming goods, storage and dispatch of items in a timely and efficient manner to achieve team objectives and Key performance Indicators (KPIs) as determined by the Depot Supervisor
  • Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

Qualification and Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a related field
  • Or relevant combination of training and experience
