 STEWARD 

 The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a kitchen and being part of a thorough and efficient team. He or she will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen. 

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Observing all environmental regulations, especially chemical handling and disposal procedures, while maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and safety
• Operating ware-washing equipment to clean china, silver and glassware and stacking  clean-utensil racks in an organised manner
• Washing, rinsing and sanitizing floors, decks, drains, scuppers, ceilings, walls, worktables, counters and shelves
• Ensuring all kitchen and restaurant facilities and equipment are clean and in good working order.
• The ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs. 

 Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
• Food Handler’s Permit
