PURCHASING AGENT - PROCUREMENT 

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the timely procurement of goods and services for Sandals Resorts International.

Requirements/duties of the position include:

• Developing and implementing global sourcing strategy in conjunction with Purchasing Manager,
• Researching and providing updates on market trends and industry happenings.
• Conducting vendor auditing and supplier evaluation.
• Ensuring adherence to international trade regulations.
• Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Ability to analyze purchasing options and make purchasing decisions involving large sums of money
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good negotiation skills

Qualifications and Experience:

• College /University Degree in Business Administration, Management Studies or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting/purchasing.
• Knowledgeable of supply management and accounting principles
• Knowledgeable of import procedures and practices
• Knowledgeable of dynamic inventory system
• Must be computer literate with a strong grasp of applications such as Word and Excel.
• Good oral and written communication skills
