Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in the restaurant industry. As an administrative assistant you will provide support to the management team and ensure the smooth day to day operations of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties including answer phone calls, responding to emails and managing correspondence.
- Schedule meetings, appointments for management and service providers.
- Assist in preparing memos, reports, spreadsheets and other company documents.
- Maintain and update records and filing systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Manage office and restaurant supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Assist with payroll.
- Liaise with vendors, clients and customers.
- Assist with special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Five GCE O’ Level or CXC General Proficiency subjects, including English & Math.
- Three to Five years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
