The Risk and Compliance Officer will recommend strategies to improve processes within our operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Compliance Monitoring Report completed
• BCM Monitoring Reports prepared
• Meet compliance targetst
• Provide technical assistance provided
• Monitors responses to compliance requirement and compliance violations and prepares compliance monitoring reports.
• Ensures all actions related to risk assessment and controls are updated and reviewed.
• Provides analysis on risk assessments, process and compliance investigations
• Monitor action plans in response to high and critical risks and audit discoveries
• Support the audit of company procedures, practices/activities, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
• Provide support for risk and compliance training at all levels to ensure employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes and risk management techniques.
• Participate in weekly strategy meetings to improve the company’s systems and processes
• Address employee concerns surrounding compliance
• Performs any other related duties consistent with the category, nature, functions and objectives of the job.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
• Reviews and assessments conducted within the required standards and in a manner that is consistent with established policies, processes, procedures and at the appropriate time
• Policies and procedures reviewed in accordance with established standards.
• Reports produced are error free and submitted on time and in established format.
• Systems updated within the required timeframe and system requirements are adhered to.
• Analysis provided are sound and supported by appropriate methodology.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related area.
• Training in one or all of the following: *Compliance Management Systems *Enterprise Risk Management
• 2 Years’ Experience in a Risk and Compliance function,
• Experience in compliance or risk monitoring
