Project Manager (Commercial Interior Fittings)

  Overview: Our client is a well-established market leader in supplying premium interior fittings to the corporate business sector. Due to growth, they are seeking to recruit a professional Project Manager to join the team in Barbados, supporting their premium clients in Barbados & Trinidad. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with Engineers, management, Supervisors and Foremen to ensure the efficient execution and completion of projects. 

• Manages multiple projects and all related issues, labor numbers/costs, budgets and schedules, including employee relations issues that may arise during projects. 

• Analyzes estimates and tender documents, blueprints, and drawings. 

• Remain awareness of current available materials inventory, costs, and quality. 

• Prepares CAD drawings/blueprints to include technical details and specifications such as materials, dimensions, and procedures in accordance with the tender requirements, national standards, customer, and company standards. 

• Participate in new/prospective client negotiations. 

• Develops project schedules: assigning cost and manpower to the schedule and provide cash and manpower forecasting.  

• Works independently and travels from job site to job site regularly to ensure that the projects are meeting the agreed timelines, meeting the requirements set forth in the quotation.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications: 

• Min. BSc . In a technical related subject ( Architecture, Interior Design, Commercial Electrics etc.) 

• Project Management-related qualifications (PMP, Prince) preferred. 

• Proficient with CAD software. 

• Strong customer service skills including client meeting experience. 

• Willing to travel overseas/Valid Driving License.
