Internal Auditor Assistant

Job Summary:

• Performing Shelf availability checks at the branches.
• Spot checking Best Buy dates on inventory.
• Visit branches and conduct checks on compliance to S.O.P’s.
• Visit the branches for perpetual and observe techniques and areas of improvement as well as strengths.
• Checking on Specialty Departments’ cleanliness, condition of chiller and freezer.
• Assist in the preparation of perpetual reports for comparison to determine variances.
• Perform internal audit fieldwork, reviewing exposure to risk and the effectiveness of the controls in place to mitigate risks.
• Recommend improvements to systems and controls based on observations and best practice.
• Assist in the preparation of internal audit reports which present audit finding in a clear, concise manner.
• Assist on other assignments or any other task as appropriate (eg: Fraud, Investigations, effectiveness reviews)

Qualification & Experience:

• Pursuing professional qualifications such as FIA (formally CAT), CIA or Level 1 ACCA.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the field of Internal or External Auditing.
• Proficiency in MS Office i.e Excel, Word and Outlook.
