Loading Rack Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for activities around the loading of fuels from storage tanks into RTWs and is required to support the Plant Engineer in troubleshooting the metering systems on the loading rack.

 Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for activities around the loading of fuels from storage tanks into RTWs and is required to support the Plant Engineer in troubleshooting the metering systems on the loading rack.

 Key deliverables will include but not limited to:

• Ensure start up and close operations – open and close tank side valves for bulk tanks, turn on and off appropriate electrical switches, take ATG readings
• Perform safe to load checks on RTW’s prior to loading
• Take samples form RTW compartments as often as instructed
• Provide loading documentation support (SLDRs, invoice verification, seal numbers, T-bar readings etc) to Terminal Automated System (TAS) Operators/Supervisor
• Provide troubleshooting support of loading issues
• Ensure established loading rack procedures are being followed

 Qualification, Experience & Skills

• Ideally a minimum of three (3) CXC/GCE O’Level subjects (Mathematics or Accounts, and English Language included)
• At least 2 years’ experience in loading RTW’s in the fuel industry
• Be able to work with minimum supervision and on shifts
• Details oriented
• Flexible to perform duties on wherever volume deems necessary

• Will be required to lift heavy objects and work at elevated heights
