The new and highly anticipated Stade’s Visitors Centre (a division of The West Indies Rum Distillery - established in 1893) is seeking to hire a self-motivated

Visitors Centre Experience Team Lead.

The ideal candidate would be expected to manage the merchandise shop, maintain all inventories, develop strategies to meet and exceed sales and marketing targets as well as deputize in the absence of the Visitors Centre Manager.

Required Competencies:

• A tertiary education in Hospitality Studies or related field would be an asset.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the hospitality, tourism or rum manufacturing industry. Previous inventory management experience would be an asset.
• Excellent communication with the ability to speak at least one foreign language (i.e., French or Spanish) would be an asset.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, numerical, delegation, and networking skills.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

• Must have an in-depth understanding of the retail sales process.
• Computer and software proficiency including strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), POS, reservation software and inventory management system.
