HR COORDINATOR

Rockhouse Hotel is an expanding boutique hotel located on the cliffs of Pristine Cove in Negril.

We are looking for a competent person to fill the position of:
HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

This leadership role is critical in ensuring that the day to day HR operations of
the business are carried out within the guidelines of established Company 

policies, procedures & industry standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists with recruitment, selection and placement of staff
• Conducting orientations and onboarding new hires.
• Generate employment agreements.
• Maintaining employees records.
• Maintaining the HR Management Systems.
• Maintain end to end employee file management process in electronic and paper form.
• Assists with managing the Benefit Portfolio for staff.
• Assist with the coordination of the Payroll Process.
• Assisting with the preparation of the performance review and policy reaffirmation process.
• Producing and submitting reports on general HR activities.
• Provide coordination and support to the HR team in capturing data, research for HR programs, initiatives and investigations.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Coordinate staff engagement activities.
• Performs other HR duties as assigned

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

• Associate Degree/BSc. in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years’ related experience required.
• Computer literate with knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Suit.
• Thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas.
• Strong teamwork and people management skills.
• Outstanding written, verbal & interpersonal communication skills.
