HEAD OF OPERATIONS

The Head of Operations will be required to embrace the organization’s core values, vision and strategic objectives and have the enthusiasm to excite direct and indirect reports to execute accordingly. Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Operations will handle the overall leadership and management of the Operations Department. This is to be done with skillful management of team members and other resources to ensure operational excellence and sustainable profitable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Provide strong leadership with respect to the business planning process to establish and implement strategies that will result in improved business results.
  2. Lead the Operations team in a manner to achieve operational excellence in alignment with established corporate and departmental strategies and agreed policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
  3. Establish approaches to evaluate performance by way of key operational metrics to quickly respond to sudden shifts and trends with focus on operational efficiency, profitability, and overall improved business outcomes.
  4. Participate in the annual budget process to include conducting financial analyses to ensure ongoing improved business results.
  5. Oversee the execution of marketing activities to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets.
  6. Lead to establish a caring work environment. Ensure individual development plans are established for members of the team in response to gaps and their career paths to ultimately improve employee engagement and experience.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or any equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
