Audio Visual and Digital Technician

The scope of the position is to give strong support to the AV Department by ensuring that audio and digital set-up are properly carried out at all required events.

A dynamic company in Kingston area is urgently seeking to immediately employ an Audio, Visual and Digital Technician.

The scope of job entails:

• Set up and monitor all digital components at events, functions including Kisoks, Display Screens, PA Systems, and digital advertising boards.
• Install and monitor ALL digital signages at specific locations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper cohesiveness is maintained within the logistics of AV department.
•  Managing and ensuring accuracy of system / assets storages of inventories
• Developing procedures and systems for tracking and scheduling required company assets
• Inspect and perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance to audio-video equipment’s; seek guidance on higher -level repairs.
• Being able to supervise, manage and dispatch junior audio-visual teams members to various execution sites.
• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalates more complex issue when necessary.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in business management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
• At least 2-3 years of training or professional experience in Audio Visual Systems, Logistics and Event Production
• Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism.
• Good knowledge of information technology research techniques
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as solid presentation skills.
• Is well organized with a customer-oriented approach.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
