Vice President, Human Resources

The VPHR will be expected to provide practical, consistent, and proactive support, direction, and advice to division managers on HR procedures, policies, best practices, employment rewards, benefits and legislation

• Design both short & long-term functional plans, with a people first approach, in a highly autonomous leadership position to deliver on the Group’s HR goals.
• Provides strategic leadership for the function in the development and implementation of tactical and operational policies, plans and initiatives towards the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
• Lead HR related continuous improvement projects across the Group through the development and implementation of ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategies.
• Oversees the operational efficiency and service level of the HR function, inclusive of the Performance Management System and HR initiatives to achieve compliance with corporate and legal policies.
• Administers the company’s compensation and benefits program ensuring that wages, benefits, and working conditions remain competitive and best in class.
• Develops and executes the Group’s talent acquisition, development, and deployment agenda for the achievement of the Group’s objectives.
• Responsible for maintaining a good industrial relations climate within the organization.
• Manage teams and relationships at all organizational levels across the global business units to ensure exceptional team performance delivering on a high performing culture.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to leverage the Group’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda whilst enabling the business to be an employer of choice.
