A dynamic and leading Micro Finance Company is seeking to fill the following position

LOANS/CREDIT SUPERVISOR

The Loans/Credit Supervisor will assist with directing and overseeing the Loans Department and its employees. Use his/her knowledge and experience to increase the company’s Loan portfolio. The successful individual must be familiar with the micro finance industry and have extensive knowledge of trends, activities and players and will be required to assist to do among other things the following:

Key Responsibilities/Functions

1. Oversees all areas of the Loans Department’s activities.
2. Train new and current staff on loan processing, and the policies and procedures of the company/department.
3. Effective leadership of the Loan Department to ensure that loan applications by customers are properly managed.
4. Set monthly targets for the loan portfolio.
5. Work with the Team to ensure that the set targets are met on a monthly basis.
6. Identify current trends in the Microfinance sector that will add value to the company.
7. Ensure that the loan process is efficient and runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Qualification /Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited university
• Three years or more related experience.
• Extensive Knowledge of the Microfinance Sector and the various trends.
• Thorough Knowledge of the Microfinance Act.
• Knowledge and experience with the various Loan Management Systems.
• A critical thinker with exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Possess the ability to create, implement and enforce policies.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal, motivational and customer service management skills
• Excellent written and oral skills
•  High level of enthusiasm, professionalism and ethical standards
