Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position at the New Arima General Hospital:

SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

The incumbent will be responsible for security electronic surveillance monitoring and initiating security responses.

 Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and critically observe Electronic Surveillance Systems at the facility.
• Identify suspicious behaviour at the facility, as it relates to crime or any security incident.
• Ensure that suspicious behaviour is appropriately recorded for evidential purposes.
• Initiate and coordinate security responses at the facility.
• Engage local law enforcement as required.
• Generate reports to the Supervisor, Security Services on all adverse occurrences or the potential for such occurrences at the facility.
• Monitor operational activities at the facility and advise accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:

• Five (5) O’level passes, inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.
• Certification in Microsoft Suite
• At least five (5) years’ experience in the field of security.
• Having been a holder of a Trinidad and Tobago precept would be asset.

*Certificates acquired at foreign universities MUST be supported by certified transcripts as well as evidence that the completed programme is accredited in Trinidad and Tobago.
