Job Summary:

In this job position, the employee will be required to provide care to patients as well as provide general customer service and/or administrative support to management and the company.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Taking and recording measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

• Recording a patient’s medical history accurately

• Administer prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks where necessary

• Assist patients with queries 

• Answer incoming calls and answer queries

• Schedule appointments for patients doing imaging procedures

• Update patient and doctor information in software

• Provide general support to patients 

Qualifications and Experience Required

• 5 CXC’s including Mathematics and English Language, 

• Certification in Basic Life Support 

• Certification as a Practical Nurse (CPN)

• 1-3 years experience as a Practical Nurse 

• Able to treat patients well in high stress environment

Special Requirements 

• Must be willing to work weekends

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts
