Trade Marketing Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily trade visits to ensure all products are available across the country
  • Develop and execute trade marketing plans islandwide that are aligned with the company’s overall brand strategy
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop programs that drive sales growth
  • Manage budgets for trade marketing initiatives and track return on investment to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Develop relationships with key customers and influencers in the market to create opportunities for growth
  • Monitor key accounts to ensure that our products are properly represented on the shelves with adequate facings and prices correctly displayed
  • Alongside the Brand Manager, plan and execute promotional events, product launches, and other trade marketing activities
  • Monitor competitor activities and keep up-to-date with industry trends to inform trade marketing strategies
  • Generate reports on trade marketing activities, share insights and make recommendations to management
  • In collaboration with the Sales Manager / Brand Manager, prepare and lead activities for the successful execution of visits by overseas suppliers 
  • Advise retail outlets of in-store solutions and promotions
  • Introduce new product launches to retail outlets 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • At least 2 years related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing programs
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel (islandwide)
  • Ability to work on weekends for promotional activities 
  • Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle
