The incumbent is responsible for the administration of the organization’s technology infrastructure, which includes configuration, security, resource monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Planning new systems that address any issues with the current systems.
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for all proposed upgrades.
- Testing the new systems to validate that they are working as expected.
- Reporting on all improvements made, as well as any setbacks.
- Creating training processes and documentation to teach others how to use new systems.
- Develop requirements documentation for new and systems modifications
- Review User Acceptance Testing for new and modifications
- Mine data from the Core Banking Application as requested
- Ensures that the databases are operating optimally
- Conduct special investigations as requested
- Ensuring that the gathering of requirements set forth by the business are captured and documented in the Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document.
- Reviewing Design Document Specification to ensure that the approach selected is suitable base on the requirements
- Assisting with the development of interface and database script.
- Conducted functional and non-functional testing on software enhancements and modifications before they are released into production.
- Conducted code reviews to ensure that best practices are maintained.
- Created various Microsoft and Postgres SQL scripts to generate report as per request by the business.
- Created various types of database objects.
- Designing and creating Oracle Forms and Reports based on technical specifications provided.
- Develop and extract data from Postgress and SQL Databases to support the strategic goals of the organization
- Review Core Banking Application Release Notes and supervise implementation.
