POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide highly efficient and effective operational, client service and business development support to all the company’s lines of business namely assessments, recruitment, training and executive coaching as well as HR consulting.
The duties/responsibilities associated with this role include but are not limited to the following:
Assessments
- Be the team lead for all psychometric assessments. Oversee the further growth and development of the assessments in the region along with the administration of assessments, related reporting and the facilitation of scoring meter requests. Maintain weekly activity reports against budget.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports of various meters/credits for review and sign off.
- Conduct training of clients, partners, and associates on the assessment systems and the interpretation of results and promote various assessment services.
- Regularly conduct proactive research on past, present, and potential clients to offer services as needed inclusive of various targeted communications.
Recruitment
- Support the team as needed with recruitment assignments from the preparation of engagement letters through to billings to clients.
- Contribute to various recruitment projects on an as-needed basis (e.g., metrics, interview training, etc.).
- Make proactive contact with potential clients in the region to offer our services and ensure that adequate follow-up is provided to increase recruitment activity.
- Promote the benefits of our recruitment services through targeted communication to past and potential clients.
Training and Executive Coaching
- Coordinate all administrative and operational components of training and executive coaching activities.
- Manage the entire SHRM certification process from prospecting through to successful completion of the various programmes.
- Schedule course sessions and learning activities; maintain training event calendars and databases and manage enrollment and reporting.
- Document and track classroom metrics for all levels of evaluation and attendance.
- Assist with the research and development of training materials.
Consulting
- Liaising with existing and potential clients to identify their needs and establish the terms of engagement.
- Keep abreast of HR legislation, trends and new developments.
- Attend and actively participate in need assessment meetings with clients.
- Assist in the research and development of policy and other interventions in response to various client needs.
- Execute various HR consulting within the firm’s capability.
- Provide support in the preparation of proposals as well as the successful completion of various consulting assignments. Where necessary work with independent consultants to ensure that proposals and engagements are adequately executed.
Client Service and Business Development
- Make proactive and reactive contact with existing clients for client service and revenue generation purposes.
- Make proactive contact with potential clients in the regional market to provide HR solutions using our various products and services.
- Maintain accurate lists of contact details including the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Provide the relevant support as it relates to business development activities across the various lines of business – inclusive of marketing material and involvement in the relevant markets.
- Establish, cultivate, and enhance strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work with firms, independent consultants and associates on the marketing and sale of products and services.
Qualifications and Knowledge, skills and abilities
- At least a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Human Resources or Management or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five CXCs with English Language and Mathematics is required.
- Proven experience supporting senior management is preferred.
- Must have strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge QuickBooks and data visualization applications would be useful.
- Strong calendar management and meeting scheduling dealing with multiple time zones is necessary.
- Prior experience handling sensitive and confidential information and documents is important.
- Excellent customer service, presentation and interpersonal skills are vital.
- Time management, prioritization and judgment skills with a positive attitude, high energy and focused attention to detail will be critical.
- Ability to communicate effectively in (1) writing to include business correspondence and internet communications and (2) orally through excellent listening and phone skills. The ability to contribute ideas and resolve issues successfully is a must.
- Sales and/or Marketing support experience would be an asset.
