Jamaica's leading manufacturer of food and beverages seeks to hire a Reliability Coordinator to support the engineering department.
The Reliability Coordinator shall be responsible for monitoring, controlling and the supervision of corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance activities to allow for the smooth running of equipment and ensuing success of pre-established production programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Develops and implements a reliability improvement plan.
o Ensures that all maintenance requirements are sustainably implemented.
o Provides maintenance support to ensure that corrective actions are fully resolved and running preventative maintenance is performed.
o Tracks/monitors and analyses KPIs; implements corrective/improvement actions as required to achieve or exceed targets.
o Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent reoccurrence of experienced equipment failure.
o Achieves compliance with the safety standards and guidelines to ensure workplace safety and proper 5s in all areas.
o Collect and analyze data for major equipment.
o Responsible for preventative maintenance and analysis seeking to continuous improve reliability.
o Leads reliability and/or cost of maintenance improvement activities.
o Consolidates the technical training needs of the areas and facilitates the development and delivery of training programs to improve the skills of Operators, Technicians
o Coordination of predictive and condition-based maintenance.
o Performing other reasonable job-related duties that maybe assigned by management.
o Risk management, collect and analyze data to support and initiate predictive maintenance actions.
o Assist in maintenance planning activities.
o Maintain a Safe and Healthy Work Environment and provide a safe working environment for employees.
o Support the Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and the Environmental Management Systems in accordance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 standards respectively.
o Maintain working environment according to GMP Housekeeping Standards
Required Qualification, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
o Completion of a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree from an accredited university.
o Technologists with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology with relevant work experience will be considered.
o Effective communication Skills.
o Problem solving, troubleshooting, and optimization skillset.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
o Ability to prioritize and plan – attention to both leading and lagging indicators requiring action.
o Effective interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
