o The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that all inventory under his/her control are managed. o The Bin Clerk is responsible for coordinating the effective receival and distribution of baked products in an accurate and timely manner.

SHIPPING & DISTRIBUTION BIN CLERK / WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Shipping & Distribution Bin Clerk

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform verification on the receiving and distribution of products on assigned shift;
  • Serve customers in accordance with quantities ordered, through the preparation of accurate and timely Tax Invoices;
  • Coordinate assigned Bin Assistants activities pursuant to the off-loading, storage, retrieval and allocation of products to customers;
  • Immediately escalate any unusual trends or suspicious activities to your supervisor and the Sales Controller;
  • At no time should a Tax Invoice be signed by either the Distributor or the Bin Clerk before goods have been delivered to the Distributor;
  • Perform daily pre-packing of products in tandem with the establish target set by the Bin Supervisor;
  • Monitor processes and report problems to supervisor;
  • Keep work area safe, clean and organized;
  • Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of workplace practices and safety conscious behavior;
  • Communicate and implement changes as directed;
  • Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle count, stock takes and audit of same to verify results;
  • Present all daily documents, including tax invoices and credit notes for review by the Bin Supervisor, prior to leaving the compound;
  • Recommend changes in operational practice where greater levels of competence and efficiency can be actualized;
  • Liaise with the respective personnel at all levels in relation to the effective receiving and distribution of baked products through the relevant distribution channels.

Qualification & Experience

  • An Associate Degree in Business Administration;
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in related field;
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred;
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in using office software;
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping;
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team;
  • Organizational skills to maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.

Warehouse Supervisor

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the daily operations of the warehouse are executed in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Ensure the Inventory Items are managed and comply with the First in First Out
  • Method of Inventory Management;
  • Items are stored in accordance with the recommended stacking and temperature as dictated by the suppliers;
  • Ensure at all times there is no instance of receiving and issuance occurring;
  • Ensure at all times there is adequate inventory in the warehouse to meet the demands of the sales team, additionally products that need prior preparation before being dispatched and one in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Review load sheets;
  • The daily reconciliation of the inventory items under your care, if discrepancies are detected all efforts are exhausted to correct same, then this should be escalated to the attention of the Shipping and Distribution Manager;
  • To coordinate with outsourced services to ensure the timely compliance to all
  • Regulatory and statutory obligations;
  • To ensure all documentations and communications to the Accounting
  • Department and executed in a timely and complete manner;
  • Perform responsibilities as assigned related to safety, compliance and disaster preparedness;
  • To always act in the best interest of the Company and to safeguard the property and other assets of the Company.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
