Analyst / Project Officer

The Analyst / Project Officer is responsible for using financial and statistical theories to develop budgets and investments in assigned projects.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply actuarial techniques across all tasks
  • Assist in the development and management of budget for each project 
  • Develop, maintain and analyze projection models
  • Use statistical tools to identify, analyze and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends. 
  • Analyze local and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry.
  • Manage and facilitate the flow of essential information among company team members.
  • Provide cross-foundation analytics to senior management
  • Coordinate and execute project tasks as assigned.

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

Qualification and Experience           

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of actuarial functions.

 Competencies 

  • Highly efficient communicator with the ability to maintain excellent relationship internally and externally
  • Proficient at working with large data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people, interpersonal and listening skills
  • A strong teamwork ethic
  • High degree of attention to details
  • Advanced MS Excel, Access and reporting skills
  • Results oriented and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
