WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

The Warehouse Supervisor maintains inventory, oversees the processing of orders (picking and packing), and delivers items in accordance with established standards and processes. They are also responsible for securing the warehouse and the supervision of staff.

Key Roles &Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the receival, loading and dispatching of products from the warehouse to customers.

• Supervising, planning, organizing and controlling the warehouse and its operations, to ensure that order and discipline is maintained at all times
• Ensuring 100% accuracy of inventory and customer orders
• Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the department’s activities
• Continuously improving warehouse operations through the use of industry best practices
• Maintaining storage area by keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimizing space utilization
• Being a strong team player with leadership and motivational skills

Required Qualification & Experience:

• A First Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant warehouse experience (including 1 year of previous supervisory experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and usage of Accpac software would be an asset
