Senior Maintenance Engineer-Mechanical

The Senior Maintenance Engineer (SME) controls, directs, coordinates, and implements programs related to maintenance or condition monitoring inspection (CMI) on assigned plant(s) for mechanical equipment, systems, and associated facilities to achieve performance targets.

The Senior Maintenance Engineer (SME) controls, directs, coordinates, and implements programs related to maintenance or condition monitoring inspection (CMI) on assigned plant(s) for mechanical equipment, systems, and associated facilities to achieve performance targets. 

Applicants for this position must possess:

• Extensive knowledge of process plant operations, maintenance, and design.

• Considerable knowledge of plant equipment, safety management and financial management.
• Proven track record in project management inclusive of capital projects, Turnaround management and major and minor equipment repair and troubleshooting.
• Holistic view of the interdependence of plant, personnel, and the goals of the organization, as well as demonstrated skills in developing policies and procedures to improve equipment maintenance and reliability.
• Comprehensive knowledge of equipment maintenance, and reliability for the following but not limited to Piping systems, Heat Exchangers, Vessels, Static Rotating equipment, Vibration Analysis, Piping, and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Piping Isometrics, and Condition Monitoring/Preventative Maintenance (CM/PM) programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a process plant environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
