An Engineering and Contracting company in Kingston is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the role of Sales Manager.

Job Description:

Are you a dynamic and results-oriented individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of air conditioning, electrical and elevator systems? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team in providing top-notch sales solutions to our clients. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding our market presence in the Electrical, Elevator, and HVAC industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for AC, Electrical and Elevator services, and installation offerings.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.
    • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training as needed.
  2. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and understanding market trends and customer needs.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key accounts, dealers, contractors, and other stakeholders in the industry.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective campaigns and promotional activities to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Provide exemplary customer service by understanding client requirements and recommending appropriate AC, Electrical and Elevator solutions.
    • Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
  4. Technical Expertise:
    • Possess a deep understanding of AC, Elevator, and Electrical systems, their features, benefits, and installation processes.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate product information is communicated to clients and prospects. 
  1. Sales Analysis and Reporting:
    • Monitor sales metrics, analyse data, and generate reports to track individual and team performance.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales processes.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A technical degree with HVAC/Electrical specialization is a plus.
  • A minimum of three (3) years proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
  • Technical proficiency in air conditioning systems and installation procedures.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.
  • Professional demeanour, with the ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
