Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring Operations & Logistics such as purchasing, warehousing, inventory, transportation and supply chain processes throughout the group.

OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS MANAGER

Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring Operations & Logistics such as purchasing, warehousing, inventory, transportation and supply chain processes throughout the group.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation and other logistics processes.
• Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Manage the entire order cycle so as to enhance business development and ensure sustainability.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities.
• Oversee Company’s fleet to include their operations, conditions, overall performance and maintenance.
• Develop procedures for coordinating supply chain management with other functional areas, such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance
• Implement new or improved procurement and logistics processes to improve efficiency and performance and create supply plans that ensure the availability of materials or products

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar field of study
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing and logistics
• Experience managing vendors, vendor agreements, and measuring vendor performance
• Experience managing direct reports
• Demonstrable experience building out successful purchasing and logistics strategies and processes
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout a business, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
