Technical Services Manager

The Technical Services Manager (TSM) is responsible for efficient plant operations, product quality assurance, optimization, and energy efficiency, elements of process safety management and supports plant production and reliability for the assigned division.

The Technical Services Manager (TSM) is responsible for efficient plant operations, product quality assurance, optimization, and energy efficiency, elements of process safety management and supports plant production and reliability for the assigned division. The TSM is responsible for leading and managing the Process Engineering and Laboratory workgroups.

Applicants for this position must possess:

• Extensive and varied knowledge and experience in plant operations, commissioning, and start-up, and the application of engineering principles in a petrochemical plant environment is required. 

• Considerable project management skills with a demonstrated ability to monitor important and complex projects concurrently are also necessary.

• The ability to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office, Aspen or HYSYS process simulation in the execution of responsibilities. 

• Proven leadership capabilities in guiding high-performance teams are essential.

Qualifications and Experience: 

1. Undergraduate degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. 
2. Post-graduate qualifications in Production Management, Business Management, Finance or other job-related field would be an asset. 
3. Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in a process plant environment. 
4. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a senior supervisory position.
