Process Engineer - One Year Contract

Purpose/Overview

Process Engineer to support offshore and onshore operations on routine surveillance, production optimization and improvement projects for its offshore and onshore facilities.

Key work areas will include:

• Process Optimization and process facility debottlenecking

• Short term and long-term process engineering project design reviews

• Decarbonization projects

• Participation in Process Hazard Analyses & Risk Assessments

• Production Chemistry management

• Critical equipment management including pressure safety valves & safety shutdown system

• Routine process surveillance using PESO/PI,

• Alarm management surveillance

• Management of change process

2 Role expectations

This person is expected to work closely with the Offshore and Onshore Operations teams, Process Engineering SME, Surface & subsurface engineering, HSE and Process Safety.

Visits and overnight stays at the offshore assets.

Interface with key service providers may be required to support process simulations & detailed engineering analysis.

Skills & Qualifications

The preferred skills/qualifications are:

• B.Sc. Chemical & Process Engineering

• Qualifications in Process Safety Engineering would be considered

• >10 years Engineering Experience

• Experience in Process monitoring using trending software

• Experience in engineering design/simulations using HYSYS

• Experience in an operating environment will be considered
