Profiles Caribbean Inc. is working collaboratively with our client, a leading supplier within in the automotive industry to select a suitable candidate for the position of the Sales Assistant.

Job Summary
As a Sales Assistant, your main responsibility will be to assist with the provision of a safe environment for patrons while providing exceptional customer service. 

Duties and Responsibilities
The role includes but is not limited to:

• Provide exceptional and timely service to customers.
• Assisting both at the front and back end of operations in a consultative manner to provide the best parts solution for their needs and advise on additional items.
• Keep customers up to date on specials and product promotions.
• Keep up to date through gaining proficiency in parts knowledge and continue growing as new products are introduced.
• Provide customers with quotes as requested by the customer.
• Ensure work environment is always kept clean and tidy.
• Ensuring to follow up quickly with customers on backordered items and communicate any changes. in delivery dates or availability.
• Ensuring to participate in annual stocktaking.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of three CSEC including Math and English.
• A minimum of 1-3 years industry experience.
• Knowledge of car parts and accessories would be an asset.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills both over the phone and in person.
