PRODUCTION MANAGER

Academic Requirements and Key Competencies

• BSc in Engineering, Applied Sciences or Operations Management
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in an Industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent organizational and presentation skills
• Analytical, data driven, with high degree of accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

• Knowledge of Food Microbiology is desirable.
• Proven time management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and adjust production schedules to meet weekly/monthly demands.
• Assess and report on production performance weekly.
• Identify, document, and implement process improvements in keeping with internal control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all finished products made, floor stocks, work in progress, and reworked material.
• Identify and improve inefficient and unsafe conditions in production areas and warehouses.
• Manage team performance and employee work experience.
