The National Bank of Dominica (NBD) Ltd. is hiring an Executive Manager, Human Resources and Talent Management with exceptional leadership skills who can effectively and efficiently manage our Human Resources and Talent Management Department.

 

The Executive Manager, Human Resources and Talent Management heads the Human Resources and Talent Management Department and is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy to support the strategic direction of the NBD, in the areas of talent attraction and management, succession planning, change management, performance management, conflict resolution, industrial relations, HR analytics, employee engagement and welfare, training and development, rewards, compensation and benefits for the National Bank of Dominica and its subsidiaries. The Executive Manager, Human Resources and Talent Management is also responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or related fields such as Management, Business, Organizational Psychology;
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification;
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience in the management of Human Resources;
  • Knowledgeable of the principles and guidelines relating to dispute resolution, human resources laws, and regulations such as the Labour laws of Dominica;
  • Sound understanding of Human Resources Management, organisational development, change management, compensation management, manpower and succession planning and career counselling.
  • A high level of computer literacy and experience in the use of payroll and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS);
  • Meets the “Fit and Proper” requirements pursuant to the Banking Act of Dominica No. 4 of 2015;
  • Experience in leading teams, the use of the Balance Scorecard Performance Management Tool and Strategic Planning would be an asset.

ü  Strong leadership and change leadership skills;

ü  Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills;

ü  High-quality communications skills - verbal and written;

ü  Ability to generate independent thought, sound judgement, and initiative;

ü  Excellent organisational skills, meticulous and detail-oriented;

ü  Ability to work extended hours and change course in an unpredictable working environment;

ü  Sound risk assessment ability;

ü  Working knowledge of the Core Director System; (would be an asset);

ü  Experience in Banking & Finance; (would be an asset).
