JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales and Marketing Manager oversees the entire sales process at Ecliff Elie Limited, namely the handling of the entire sales process inclusive of driving the achievement of monthly sales goals through monitoring sales team deliverables, KPIs, store performance and other related measurables. He/She will further be responsible for researching, forecasting and reporting on market trends, competitor activities and key insights that may impact and direct sales and marketing strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsible for merchandising analysis as it relates to industry-standard surveillance and company surveillance of fashion trends (colors, style, types), reporting on projected merchandise trends for upcoming seasons.
Responsible for making sure that all stores and sales staff are aligned, trained and updated with marketing strategy for the calender period, reflected in alignment in store layout, sales team campaign support, store window display and the like.
Responsible for training and managing sales staff on sales systems and key responsibilities so that key deliverables are met and system processes are adhered to.
Responsible for timely updating of the managing director on market trends, opportunities, sales strategies and competitive initiatives that may impact revenue.
Responsible for acquiring new talent for the sales team when needed.
Responsible for planning, executing, managing and updating the yearly marketing strategies within the marketing calendar within given timelines.
Responsible for efficiently planning, budgeting and reporting on the marketing spend per strategy within given timelines.
Responsible for training and managing the marketing team and external service providers in all marketing initiatives and job requirements, to drive deliverables.
Responsible for reporting both financial and non-financial deliverables of sales and marketing activities within given timelines.
Responsible for managing the brand’s positive image in all external communications, collaborations, events, ambassador partnerships and sponsorships, through ensuring that all such partnerships or communications follow brand strategy and partnership formats as outlined by the managing director.
Responsible for seeking new business opportunities or improvements as it relates to marketing and reporting such to the managing director with ROI analyses.
Responsible for stakeholder relationship management, particularly ensuring that partners cush as photographers, sponsors, service providers, ambassadors and the like are supported in all contract agreements and integrated into our network by creating powerful and lasting bonds.
Responsible for acquiring new talent for the marketing team when needed
Conducts Customer Analysis including defining and determining customer needs, experience, criteria and expectations, through cross-functional collaborations with key internal stakeholders.
Works closely with the Managing Director in overseeing the daily business operation.
Assist with quality checks and procedure audits.
Assist and support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems within sales and marketing team
Aid in the HR Administration inclusive of employees leave, absenteeism and punctuality management
Provide advice and counseling on company policies and procedures
Maintain employee and company confidentiality
Champion the Company’s reward and recognition programme
Mentor and Coach staff where necessary.
Performs any other duties which are incidental or consequential to the above, as may be assigned by the Managing Director.
