Sr. Manager, Technical Services

Responsible for managing all aspects of the Nutrien Trinidad capital program.

• Manage all aspects of the Nutrien Trinidad capital program. Responsible for managing the overall portfolio and stewarding to the annual and 5 year capital plants. 
• Ensure compliance with the gated approval process for projects where first a concept is developed, then options are developed (in house our with external technology providers). The project is then managed against detailed cost estimate and schedules.
• Manage the Process Engineering team.  Develop and maintain process monitoring activities and improvement plans. 
• Provide direction to comply with Process Safety Management programs developed both centrally for Nutrien and the site.
• Direct all site engineering department activities to ensure maintenance & engineering technical support is provided to the facility Nitrogen production areas, supplier & services integration in addition to any other plant area or company area of need.
• Ensure the organization’s reliability strategy is properly executed.
• Foster a culture that seeks to understand and eliminate the causes of critical asset failure using techniques such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
