The Retail Sales Support Officer will be responsible for the execution of the sales, revenue growth and productivity objectives for RBD as well as the development and advancing of a robust sales culture for the Bank.
Core Functions
• Support the execution of the sales, revenue growth and productivity objectives for RBD as well as the development and advancing of a robust sales culture for Bank by:
- Exemplifying the practices and techniques of performance coaching by providing coaching and training support for members of the sales team on an individual one-on-one basis.
- Leveraging the available support resources and tools such as training, procedures and scripts to enable the sales persons to achieve optimum performance.
- Engaging the sales persons to gain acceptance of the interventions and commitment to the coaching/training process.
• Conduct comprehensive pre and post intervention assessment of targeted sales persons to ensure customized intervention and sustained improvement.
• Support each intervention with a strong performance management framework by:
- Developing performance improvement plans in collaboration with the sales persons and other key stakeholders in the process.
- Keeps track of sales performance and identify the behaviours required to get improved results.
- Keeping all stakeholders abreast of developments during the assignment with the sales persons through analytical reports and assessments and conduct relevant discussions.
• Monitor the execution of specific Retail and subsidiaries product programmes and promotions across the branch network to maximize sales from these sources and optimize cross selling opportunities.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Division’s SSE Model by evaluating the application of tools, processes and procedures as well as the initiatives covered by the SSE Sustainability Plan in order to assist the specific branches and Division as a whole to meet its sales, revenue growth, cross selling, referrals and productivity objectives.
