The Security Auditor will report directly to the Security Supervisor. Roles will include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities
The Security Auditor will assume the role of “Acting Security Supervisor” with the ability to sign on behalf of said Supervisor, when required, as well as propose and implement policies to minimize risks to the company.
The Security Auditor will conduct investigations into accidents and incidents and provide written reports and copies of video footage to aide in disciplinary hearings as well as to keep heads of the company informed of occurrences.
The Security Auditor will assist with the management of all contracts and stakeholder regulations related to the security department, for example, AEO, YUM audits, CCTV and Security Guard Company.
The Auditor will also have responsibility to oversee export and import processes.
The Auditor reports to the Warehouse Supervisor on the shift assigned and Security Supervisor. This Attendant must be able to operate a forklift and other motorized equipment and use handheld scanners to conduct movement of inventory items.
Their duties include but are not limited to verification and validation of outbound quantities in accordance to the CPJ trip sheet. They audit from a loss prevention perspective, and as such their main focus is on priority items, (high value items, items that show variances, and large quantities).
They audit to ensure that picking procedures are adhered to, which sees them auditing goods that are already audited.
They also do strategic audits: In that, if a particular driver, selector or auditor is under suspicion, they do a full audit on everything assigned to said person.
Supervise contract security guards.
CCTV monitoring
Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
Secondary school leaving certificate.
Three (3) CSEC subjects or equivalent.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is an asset.
Food distribution experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Bureau of Standards regulations, HACCP and AEO is an asset.
Ability to work nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
