Profiles Caribbean Inc. is working collaboratively with our client, a leading supplier within in the automotive industry to select a suitable candidate for the position of the Inventory Assistant.

Job Summary
As an Inventory Assistant, your main responsibility will be to assist with the overall management of stock taking and inventory management.  

Duties and Responsibilities
The role includes but is not limited to:

• Assisting with all stock-taking procedures inclusive of monitoring the inventory levels and reporting low stock items and replenishment of daily inventory.
• Assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the storeroom.
• Assisting with preparations and participating in the annual stock count.
• Inspect all shipments for damage, loss or defects and report to the supervisor.
• Assist with the delivery of orders with careful and timely verification of information on associated packing slips and purchase orders to confirm accuracy of shipments.
•  Monitor, unpack, sort, count, package, and label inbound inventory.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Appropriately move, stack and store goods to ensure walkways are kept clear and other safety standards are maintained.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 1-3 years of experience working within a similar position.
• Experience working with inventory management software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, logistics and organizational skills
•  Knowledge of data analysis
