Job Description
Job Purpose: Ensure the seamless financial administration of Experience Turks and Caicos Islands operations in accordance with TCI's financial and fiscal regulations.
Key Results Areas:
Support the CFO in achieving short, medium, and long-term financial objectives.
Essential Duties:
- Process payments for TCI Board of Tourism, including advertising, road/trade shows, and events.
- Prepare monthly payroll, including timely payment of employee and employer NHIB, NIB, and insurance contributions; maintain an up-to-date employee register.
- Generate reports and offer financial insights and advice to the CFO and other relevant stakeholders within Experience Turks and Caicos operations.
- Provide strategic financial input.
- Oversee budget management and expense control.
- Assist management in decision-making by creating budgets and financial forecasts.
Skills/Qualifications/Competencies:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Possess at least 5 years of work experience in the field.
- Have three years of experience managing an accounting function in either the public or private sector, with prior audit and payroll management experience.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of financial systems, including QuickBooks.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations.
- Skilled in preparing reports and business correspondence.
- Deadline-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Adaptable attitude towards assignments, capable of working within ambiguous guidelines.
- Strong social and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain good health and a high energy level.
