Job position Summary-
Plan, organize, direct and control all the activities of the Maintenance Control Center necessary to achieve the objectives and management indicators, as well as generate the change proposals required
to achieve continuous improvement and regulatory compliance to ensure the continuous airworthiness of operations, operational safety and improve punctuality by optimizing resources in the technical service of aircraft.
Maintenance Control Center Supervisor is responsible for-
Manage the development of the activities of the continuous airworthiness of the aircraft of the interCaribbean Airways fleet and control that, according to the assignments of his department, the regulatory requirements are met to maintain the Continuous Airworthiness of the aircraft and components of the interCaribbean Airways fleet.
Ensure that any defect or damage that affects the airworthiness of an aircraft or aircraft component is corrected during line maintenance.
Carry out the procedures for the control of technical diagnoses, troubleshooting and repetitive items of the technical problems of the interCaribbean Airways fleet.
Establish, monitor and perform the operating procedures, control and removal of aircraft maintenance deferred items managed by the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) / Configuration Deviation List (CDL) or very short-term non-routine tasks and in communication with the Technician of Maintenance in charge, making sure of its correct execution.
Propose changes to the Maintenance Programs and MEL/CDL of the fleet, after a reliability analysis.
