The System Administrator is responsible for supporting and developing the organization through prompt and reliable technical support, high quality service, achieving end user satisfaction .
Position: Systems Administrator
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal performance and availability of all servers and networks.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including network connectivity problems and server malfunctions.
Collaborate with service providers, solution providers and other infrastructure teams.
Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery preparedness.
Manage specific security controls to the network and connectivity infrastructure to enhance resilience to unauthorized access.
Coordinate and implement system upgrades and patches.
Provide technical support on hardware, software, and network-related matters.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and troubleshooting procedures.
Maintain correct inventory levels by enforcing and ensuring that company procedures are adhered to.
Assist in the coordination of hardware and training of personnel in the use of hardware for stock taking activities.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, from a recognized University or equivalent study.
A Minimum of 2 years experience as a Systems Administrator.
Certifications and/ or training in the following products or technologies preferred: Microsoft Server 2003/2008 administration (MCSA, MCITP); database administration; network administration (Network+,CCNA), data storage and tools, Microsoft Office products (MOS).
Solid understanding of computer hardware such as CPU, Memory, Disk, Network and Bios.
