Our clientele spans various sectors and industries, encompassing home users, SMBs, large enterprises, government organizations, education, hospitality, manufacturing, finance sectors, and offshore companies.

The primary role of a Corporate Sales Manager is to oversee and lead the sales team in driving revenue generation and achieving sales targets for the company's products or services in the Guyana B2B and retail markets. They are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the team's performance is aligned with the company's overall sales objectives. Additionally, they play a vital role in analyzing market trends, providing insights to the management, and continuously improving the sales process to maximize profitability and growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Business Development: The sales manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the B2B ICT sector. This involves prospecting potential clients, building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their specific needs, securing revenue, managing pipelines and ensuring revenue and PBT targets are met.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets is a crucial aspect of the role. The sales manager must analyze market trends, assess competition, create proposals, and align sales goals with the overall business objectives.
  • Team Management and Leadership: Managing a team of account managers is a critical responsibility. This entails providing leadership, guidance, support, and training to the sales team, setting performance targets, and motivating them to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers is essential for long-term business success. The sales manager should ensure that customers receive exceptional service, address any concerns or issues promptly, and explore upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales performance, analyzing data, and generating regular sales reports are vital for assessing the effectiveness of sales strategies. The sales manager should identify areas for improvement, make data-driven decisions, and present performance updates to the company's leadership.

 Requirements

  •  A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often required.
  •  At least 5 years’ experience in sales or account management, particularly in an ICT industry is preferred.
  •  A strong customer-centric approach is vital in understanding and addressing the unique needs and challenges of   corporate clients, fostering loyalty, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.
  •  Being able to analyze sales data, market trends, and client performance is valuable for making data-driven   decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and improving overall account performance.
  •  Experience leading and managing teams.
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop presentations, proposals, etc.
