Pinnacle Insurance Brokers (PIB) Limited invites applications from experienced, qualified, customer centric and self-motivated individuals for the position of:

CLAIMS SUPERVISOR

The incumbent will provide supervision of the Claims Department, oversee the timely and accurate processing of claims and will ensure operational efficiencies.

What You Will Do?

  • Oversee day to day operations of the department
  • Execute appropriate claims activities to ensure consistent, quality delivery of claims service
  • Evaluate clients’ portfolios to determine appropriate coverage for filing claims
  • Provide guidance to customers in the reporting and preparation of claims, including the completion of claim forms, where necessary
  • Negotiate claim settlements with insurers and clients
  • Prepare Claims Experience Reports for clients and attend review meetings with the client or unit leader
  • Provide reports on critical claims matters to the General manager
  • Ensure proper recording of all activities in the system
  • Conduct periodic Audit
  • Train and evaluate staff

What will you need?

  • A Diploma in Supervisory Management
  • Professional Certificate in Insurance Studies
  • At least two (2) years’ experience working in the General Insurance industry in Claims
  • Working knowledge of Motor, Property and Liability classes of General Insurance
  • Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Good collaborative skills/team player
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities
  • Must be able to work under pressure
