Installation Supervisor-Amber Solutions

The incumbent will be required to supervise and manage a team of Installation Technicians to ensure that installations are executed in accordance with quality standards and that the customers' expectations are met at all times.

Amber Solutions is seeking to hire a technically competent and driven individual with strong leadership and strategic skills to fill the position of:

           INSTALLATION SUPERVISOR

The key duties of this position include the following:

• Monitoring the Installation Technicians and ensuring that the company's installation targets are met.
• Holding accountability for meeting the targets and objectives of the company, specific to the technicians, regarding installation processes.
• Directing, handling, and overseeing checks to ensure that quality standards are attained. 
• Assisting with the recruitment of technicians.
• Planning and strategizing the execution of installation undertakings for customers on a regular basis
• Reassessing the operative tasks of the technicians, settling issues and matters of the installation department
• Conducting market research with the aim of determining our competitors' offerings and recommending strategies to increase market share
• Aiding the Installation Technicians with their duties and tasks, as required
• Providing new installation plans, programs, training, and possibilities for the company.
• Ensuring that all supervisory and administrative tasks are in compliance with the rules and existing policies of the company.
• Working with other departments (Technical Support, Customer Service) to execute installation processes and workings.
• Strategizing, planning, administrating, and handling meetings with technicians, weekly.
• Monitoring customer concerns and queries and settling same to ensure happy customers
• Making sure that all the tasks and projects are executed in agreement to the needs of our customers.
• Managing supplies and expenses for the department.
• Preparing travelling cost report monthly.
• Securing and filing all customer and installation documents daily
• Making sure that the company earns profits and gains by executing installation projects
• Organizing the completion of external installation projects
• Reporting on daily installations and escalate any customer issues, as required
• Providing the technicians of the company with daily inputs and creative suggestions regarding the installation methods and procedures.
