As the Sales & Customer Service Representative, you will build and maintain meaningful relationships with our customers by serving as our internal representative and expert product educator.

Job Description:

The Sales & Customer Service Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining meaningful relations with our customers. This is achieved by taking personal and complete responsibility for each customer interaction and by ensuring that all customer requirements are met.
As the Sales & Customer Service Representative, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for our organization and must convey a confident sense of expertise in our products while acting as one of the key educators to our customers. Please note that this is a fully in-person role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, showcasing best customer service practices.
  • Monitor collections and ensure timely receipt of payments from customers.
  • Prepare periodic reports and documents
  • Generate leads to expand our customer base
  • Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines and process customer orders efficiently.
  • Present and discuss the nature of our products to customers.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Manage petty cash disbursement and reconciliation.
  • Participate in scheduled promotional activities to promote our products.
  • Assist in trade shows and exhibitions to showcase our products and services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least three (3) CXC subjects, including English and Mathematics.
  • Diploma in Customer Service, Marketing, Operations and Logistics, or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new applications.

Skills and Competences:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of internal controls and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively individually and with a team.
  • Strong multitasking ability, able to set priorities, and manage time.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders
  • Adept at mitigating potential conflicts

Special Conditions:

  • Periodic exposure to dust, noise, and irritating fumes may occur.
  • Ability to move and/or lift objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, respirators, hard hats, goggles, face shields, earmuffs/plugs, gloves, aprons, and lab-coats when necessary.
