SALES MANAGER

A business leader in the Media and Communications industry has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated & results-driven professional to fill the role of SALES MANAGER.

As the Sales Manager you will have the opportunity and responsibility to lead and guide the growth and development of the sales  divisions.

If you are the ideal candidate for this role:

  • You are someone who enjoys working with and developing teams. You understand the challenges and opportunities faced by sales and service representatives and champion their development to achieve desired results.
  • You are a champion for providing excellent service to customers and you are able to monitor and improve the service standards.  
  • You are skilled at managing and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and creating a development agenda for improving the performance of sales and customer service professionals.  You have developed structures for monthly, quarterly and yearly evaluations of your teams.
  • You must have exceptional negotiation, solution selling and sales planning skills.  
  • You are someone who has been successful at developing strategic revenue plans and coordinating the execution and deployment of the resources required to accomplish your objectives. 
  • You are someone who develops strong relationships, understand the needs and wants of stakeholder and bring high level of emotional intelligence to managing and fostering these relationships.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of business management, finance and accounting with strong numeracy, analytical, critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Exceptional detail-oriented, time management and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines
  • Experience in budget planning
  • Strong computer and office software skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service

Qualification/Experience:

  • Degree in Business or Management Studies
  • Over three years' experience in retail sales management and customer service supervision/ management required; preferably in Media and Communications
  • History of demonstrated success in meeting sales goals
  • Working in a fast paced and competitive environment
