WAREHOUSE CLERK

Core Function

Reporting to the Warehouse  Manager, the Warehouse Clerk will support the Manager and team in executing the daily operating  warehouse tasks in respect of the movement of goods in and out of warehouse, as summarised below: 

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick orders
• Assist with the delivery of goods
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing inventory
• Load or pack shelves
• Carry out periodical physical inventory checks
• Check incoming and outgoing inventory
• Prepack bulk goods (mainly screws and bolts)
• Complete time logs and reports
• Organize and maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly manner

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Two years’ experience working in a similar role
• A minimum of two secondary passes in CXC or equivalent in Mathematics and English
• Ability to do physical work, i.e., lifting and moving load etc.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Scrupulous and meticulous
• Ability to work flexible hours
