In the Learning and Development (L&D) team, you will assist with implementing learning initiatives within the unit and will report directly to the Project Manager. You will play a role in the upskilling, reskilling, and maintenance of the company's learning objectives.

OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).

JOB SUMMARY:

In the Audit Learning and Development (L&D) team, you will be the managing member of a team who guides and supervises the activities and schedule of a project to ensure each aspect is complete and accurate. Project Leads motivate their team members to create a productive work environment and promote teams to work collaboratively during each step of the project process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery

  • Collaborate with Audit L&D PMO and Deployment leaders to understand strategy and priorities.
  • Give clear directions and instructions to both team members and stakeholders with regard to external factors to enable them carryout their duties effectively
  • Encourage contributions and input from team members and other key stakeholders on projects

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of three years of progressive project experience, with two years of people management
  • CAPM or PMP certification is a plus
  • A strong understanding of project management and Learning & Development is a plus

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Expected to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to responsibly use information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays
  • Supports performance management process (goal setting, interim and annual performance reviews, etc.) and management of personnel issues by implementing performance improvement plans
