Insurance Claims Manager

SM Jaleel, a leading manufacturer of non-alcoholic beverages has a vacancy for an Insurance Claims Manager.

The Insurance Claims Manager will manager the company’s insurance portfolio to insure that risks are adequately mitigated, losses are minimal and insurance coverage is sufficient.

Main Accountabilities:

• Assess the company’s risk profile to ensure adequate mitigation of risk
• Research policy requirements to ensure the organization meets coverage stipulations 
• Adhere to legal regulations governing the policies and territories insured by remaining abreast of any changes
• Negotiate the rates with insurers
• Facilitate the settlement of complex claims and process related paperwork for completeness
• Liaise with the board of directors to provide timely updates regarding changes in policy coverage, losses and recommendations for new or expanded coverage
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by line manager.
